Nous sommes arrivés à Cusco hier matin, mais je n’ai pu publier de billet, car nous n’avions pas accès à l’internet hier soir…à l’hôtel où nous sommes, une superbe propriété, on a besoin d’un « wizard »qui s’appelle Paolo pour configurer l’internet…Paolo ne travaillait pas hier soir donc pas d’internet…
Hier midi nous avons passé un peu de temps à Cusco, puis nous avons descendu dans la vallée sacrée des Incas…quelques opportunités pour la photographie…mais rien comme aujourd’hui…ce matin nous sommes allés sur le site archéologique de Ollantaytambo… nous avons visité le temple du soleil, puis nous avons passé beaucoup de temps dans le village qui est à la base du temple...même un lundi c’était la fête et toute une fête…beaucoup de gens du village en costumes traditionnels…à 35 Celsius, y faisait un peu chaud…mais le Sherpa ne s’est pas trop fatigué à monter les ruines…tout le bagage était sur mon dos…je ne sais vraiment ce que ça va prendre pour faire revenir le Sherpa à l’ouvrage.
We arrived in Cusco yesterday morning, but I wasn’t able to publish an entry because we didn’t have access to the internet. ..at the hotel where we live, which is an out of this world property, you need a wizard called Paolo to configure the internet…and, Paolo wasn’t working yesterday…so no internet…
Yesterday, we spent some time in Cusco around lunchtime and then we headed for the Sacred Valley of the Incas…we had some photographic opportunities, but nothing like today…we visited the Sun temple at Ollantaytambo and then we spent a lot of time in the village at the base of the temple…even on a Monday, it was party time and it was a hell of a party…lots of town folks in traditional costumes…at 35 Celsius, it was very hot, hot, hot…but the Sherpa didn’t work a lot today…all the weight was on my back…I really don’t know if I will ever get that Sherpa working again…I think I want my money back…
