Retour chez un veil ami - Return to an Old Friend

Nous voilà de retour sur le National Geographic Endeavour…le tout semble familier, car nous sommes logés dans la même chambre que lorsque nous étions sur ce bateau en Antarctique l’année dernière. Une fois arrivés aux îles Galapagos, nous avons voyagé en Zodiac pour nous rendre sur le bateau. Une fois l'exercice d'évacuation complété, nous rembarquons sur les Zodiacs pour nous rendre sur l'ile North Seymour où nous avons passé une partie de l'après-midi à photographier des "blue-footed booby" et des FrigateBirds", je m'excuse pour la traduction, car je ne suis pas connecté à l'internet lorsque je compose et je n'ai malheureusement pas trouvé de livres français décrivant les oiseaux des îles Galapagos. Mon billet n’est pas trop long ce soir car nous devons être prêt à embarquer sur les Zodiacs à 6 h 30 demain matin pour un visite de l’île Espanola.

Back on the National Geographic Endeavour…every feels like déjà vu…We were able to book the same room that we had when we traveled on the Endeavour in Antarctica last year. We took the Zodiacs to get to the ship…at least this time I did not need to learn how to get into and out of them floating devices…Once the fire drill completed we jumped back in the Zodiacs and landed on North Seymour Island where we spent a few hours photographing FrigateBirds and Blue-Footed Boobies. My blog is pretty short tonite because we have to be in the Zodiacs at 6:30 AM for a walking tour of the island of Espanola.
